The result speaks for itself: harmonious and elegant aromatics, delicately scented with plum, fine spicy wood aromas of vanilla and delicate tobacco. On the palate very juicy and elegant; fine plummy fruit with lovely sweetness from the wood. Very long and spicy aftertaste.
Description
The Mostviertel house plum comes from the heart of our region, and is harvested by hand without the stem. In the cellar house we gently remove the pit, so that the pure and intense flavour of the plum remains. The plum mash is fermented under temperature control. After distillation the spirit is adjusted to cask strength of 60% alcohol, and then matures for a year in an oak cask.

Our Alte Zwetschke is best enjoyed at room temperature, between 18–20°C
